Baan 109 in 3 Damansara, Petaling Jaya can offer you an authentic Thai food experience that you crave for. There were so much good reviews on Baan109, so I'm here to have a try!
Always reassuringly busy, this is a great spot for a quick lunch or more leisurely dinner. Whilst the decor is simple and basic, for authentic and tasty Thai food at a very reasonable price you can't go wrong with Baan 109.
If you are a fan of spicy food, is the one for you! I considered myself a big fiery food lover, but this Jim Jum, MAMA special is punishingly flaming because it was made according to their own secret recipe!
2. Their dish is deep fried to a light, golden crisp and coated with their secret recipe that oozes the most flavours ever.
The most impressive dish we had was the Jim Jum. It serves in such a ancient claypot design which we called Jim Jum as hotpot. It helps to keep the soup warm because of the stove at the bottom. Customer can choose between Jim Jum Seafood and Chicken set or only Chicken set with 20% off. For the pricing, I would say it is a luxurious seafood spread that's good for two or three people and definitely valued for money! The prawn is fresh and absorb the soup well hence every bite packs a good punch of spiciness. Thumbs up for the sweetness/ sourness spicy of the soup that is made from lemongrass, Thailand leaves and basil, making the overall dish, wanting to keep it traditionally yet having to cater to the local's taste buds, this is just the right amount of spiciness!

Besides the hotpot, Here is the MAMA special. One of our favorites with its spicy-sweet flavour and strong aroma soup. This also one of their signature which they served with different ingredients. The MAMA Nam Chicken ( Chicken ) along is superb! 👍
The side dishes were extremely delicious. We had the deep fried Chicken Skin, Deep Fried Chicken Meat and Deep Fried Minced Chicken. One of the Thai dish good for sharing too. Overall, the deep fried was done pretty well. Chicken was tender with the accompaniment of the chili sauce made up for it!
The chicken smells and taste very delicious, with the well-marinated sauce.
The salad is as good as those you get in Thailand. Every bite came with a nice crunch and an explosive burst of flavor.
End your meal with Iced Thai Tea. To be honest, the sweetness is amazing. You won't feel guilty or fat when you have this Thai Tea 🍶
