Farquhar Mansion is located along Lebuh Farquhar, Georgetown, right across Eastern and Oriental Hotel.
Upon first impression, the atmosphere was very calming,The ground floor was an intimate setting, with dim lights, jazz music, plush velvet chairs.A rather quite place and excellent place for an evening out. It has good ambiance with soft and confirm music. A great place for fine dining with an exotic yet exclusive ambiance. The mansion has been beautifully restored to give a very private yet fine dining experience.

On that day, We had a 6 course dinner accompanied with amuse bouche and other worthy addition.
We served by the 6 course tasting menu, there is no description of any of the course as it a mystery tour for me to delight your taste buds and we weren't disappointed we started with pre-course Amuse Bouche. It actually a bite-sized food served before your meal.
Dinner started with an Amuse Bouche consisting of an Parmesan Biscuit, Breaded Mushroom with Bernaise Sauce and Hokkaido Scallop Carpaccio. The presentation is exquisite. There are some outstanding dishes among them were the Steamed Grouper, Premium Lamb Rack and the fantastic dessert.

This food is followed by the started Momotaro, a Japanese food. The food was beautifully presented, had amazing flavours! With everything homemade, the breadth and quality of cheeses offered was outstanding, nitro goat cheese do enhance the flavor. We are lovers of soft, very ripe cheese and the service truly hit the spot. Plus the smoked clam is fresh and you can taste the chewy texture.
Broccoli Veloute
Coriander | Crab Meat | Crouton | Black Caviar | Roasted Broccoli
Another starter served with the Broccoli Veloute to warm up my stomach before I move to Foie Gras Perl. Served with blended Crab Meat and Roasted Broccoli in greenish Broccoli soup, it gives a fibrous scent at the moment.
Foie Gras Pearl
Duck Rillettes Filo | William Pear Puree | Cress | Maldon Sea Salt
For appetizer we had the Foie Gras Pearl which was crispy and taste wonderful with raspberry and red wine reduction, seared on the outside and soft and rich on the inside. The delectable, melt in your mouth taste. It was an absolute delight. The dishes was special, had some really interesting and tastefully combinations.
Steamed Grouper
Crusted Pumpkin Seed | Smoked Swede Puree | Chargrilled Vege | Confit Tomato
The grouper is fresh and the flavor remains instead of being over seasoned, as well as the fine texture. They cook the grouper with a perfect tender and juicy accompanied by Smoked Swede Puree and Chargrilled Vege.
Sous Vide Premium Lamb Rack
We had the lamb and this was superbly cooked and accompanied with tasty lamb jus, Morel, Shimeiji and The side of Asparagus was delicious. The lamb rack was outstanding as well for the grouper was a stand out.
The medium well lamb rack was cooked nicely, make me unforgettable ~~
Chocolate Forest
Kirsch | Valrhona Chocolate | Yuzu
There was this dessert, called Chocolate Forest also gave a perfect ending for meal. It was a beautiful looking dessert and good display too with a unique variety and high quality of Valrhona Chocolate.
Overall, I had a great experience here with their good service and ambiance. When we step in they greet us with a warm smile. The taste of food was just perfectly. The experience was unique and we feel like a royalty. Every dish served by the waiter was meticulously described and waiters always make sure we were comfortable with the foods. I think it is definitely worth the value to have such superb quality fine dining at this price. It is recommended and I will come back again!
