For me what i love most about buffets is not just the freedom i have to savour as much good food as i can, but also the moment of mindless and passionate indulgence in the selection of good food that befall my eyes. And also, for me, buffets are the best value option out there Having wide array of dishes laid before your eyes, from noodles to Ayam, Muah Chee to Hot Soy Bean and then knowing you get to taste them all. It's worth going here no matter what's the price. To cater to the local taste buds, there are Malaysian favourites of the Malay, Chinese and Indian People.  They want everyone regardless of race to enjoy the lunch buffet in true Malaysian style. 

I'm getting hungry just imagining it. Below is hot soy bean milk with assorted ingredients.
Assorted sweet potatoes, rice dumpling sago, almond bean curd, cendol, minced fruits and quell egg. The soya milk was nice and warm. Malaysian actually enjoy eating hawker food because there are so many choices to savour in an open space. Penang Famous Koay Kak, Assorted Yong Tau Foo soup, Tandoori Ayam Golek, Ice Cream Goyang, Kedah special Laksa, Indian Mee Goreng, Roti Canai, Roti Tissue, Roti Bom and crispy fried corner can be found at their Action Dish and Stall.

Almost every buffet will serve white rice or briyani rice, in Flamingo Hotel they served a special lentil rice and you can enjoy yours with the beef cooked with spice and coconut which did not leave a gamey smell or taste and was easy to chew.
Other good pairings are Curry fish and Nyonya 'Inchi Kabin' with dipping sauce. Nyonya 'Inchi Kabin' with dipping sauce fried chicken is so fragrant due to the variety of spices and the richness of the coconut milk. They are marinated with a host of spices that will tease your taste buds. 

Curry fish with the egg plant ; When i say my love, i most definitely do mean this creamy, savoury sweet curry fish that is the rice's best friend and my idea of food heaven. It's so comforting, spicy-sweet-savoury, soul hugging, and it just generally puts me in a good mood about life.

Chinese food they have Crispy mackerel fish with spiced, curry leaf and ginger blossom, Nyonya 'Inchi Kabin' with dipping sauce, Steamed tofu with minced chicken, shimeji mushroom and basil leaf, Stir fried baby kailan with curry leaf and salted egg, Stir fried seafood mee tiow with chilli shrimp paste



I enjoy the fish curry for its hint of sourness that was perfectly balanced with the spices. 
Pair this with the main course items like Crispy Mackerel Fish with spiced, curry leaf and ginger blossom.

Malay food they have Beef cooked with spiced and coconut milk, Clam cooked with bird chilli and coconut, Percik Potatoes and Kuzi Boiled Egg.

Indian food they served Dried Style Curry Chicken and Special Lentill Rice.


Those who enjoy fried food can look forward to Chinese cold cut platter with seafood chilli sauce.
( Pandan chicken, century egg rolls, Oyster roll, crab roll cauliflower chicken and ham fish roll. )

This is an assorted of staters, including kerabu. Diners can also to look forward to dishes like Penang Famous Rojak, Passembur with chef sweet and spicy potatoes sauce, Curry Chicken Salad with pineapple to name a few.





For dessert, there are plenty to choose from including selection of fresh fruits, fruit salad, local pastry and assorted cakes dessert - 
Tattletale, mousse, cream puff, pie, jelly, assorted pudding, and chilled caramel.
