Flavours of Malaysia Sunday Buffet Lunch at Eastin Hotel Penang

Eastin Hotel Penang is set to cook up a storm and bring delicious traditional flavours of yesteryears back through their ' Flavour of Malaysia ' buffet.

You can hold gatherings for family and friends here! The service was good and the environment was suitable as a place to relax and have a discussion over tea.
Guest seated within the air-conditioned restaurant can dine with view of the outdoor.


In Eastin Hotel Sunday Buffet food line, there is approximately 5 of the foot line in the entire restaurant which consists of  Salad bar, Noodles, Ice Cream bar, dessert line, Action stall and Main course etc.
The buffet line food are replenish on time and seldom you will see the plate empty, this is definitely a plus point who is a big eater.

Choice of the vegetables for salad is same as what you see in normal buffet line.

Begin my meal at the main course section and i decide to try on the Daging Percik Berempah, Ikan Masak Tempoyak, Sotong Sumbat Ketupat Masak Sambal, Gulai Nanka, Lamb Varuval with Green Peas, Belacan chicken, Stir Fried Kailan with Salted fish and Fried Garlic, Char Siew Chicken fried rice and Steamed white rice.
Another noteworthy items from the chinese food is Soft Bean Curd with Mapo Sauce.

Their is also a noodle corner, which serves hot off-the-stove noodles such as mee/bihun rebus sotong
For the noodle corner, the soup base is spicy! If you are spicy lover, you definitely will love it.

With further ado here are some of the food 


Belacan chicken on the buffet line taste are well marinated and juicy. 









For the soup, there are Crab Meat with Corn Kernel Soup and Sup Soto Ayam with Chili Sambal


Crab Meat with Corn Kernel Soup is pretty good a bit of not that thick a little diluted, maybe you can pick the below one

So after main course, i decided go for the desserts.
There are Assorted Fruit Platter, Assorted French Pastries, Chinese pancake, Jelly in cup, Banana cake, Pandan cake, Kaseri with Raisin Cashew Nut, Bubur Gandum and Six Type of Malay Kuih.






My favourite definitely will go to Chinese Pancake and Kaseri with Raisin Cashew Nut
AND OFCOURSE THE MALAY KUIH.


For those with sweet tooth, this splendid selection of desserts will make you wish you have a bigger stomach!

My experience with Eastin Hotel

Ambience : Design and Environment at the dining area is usually really good. However, during lunch time the environment will be slightly noisy and packed as most guest from outsider will settle their lunch there.

Choice of food and taste : They have pretty wide variation choice of food, everything in 'Malaysia'
Taste wise is really not bad and some dish is realy good, and well if you compare the pricing i think it is worth the dollar. 

Flavours of Malaysia Sunday Buffet Lunch will be served from 12.00 noon until 2.30pm at RM68 nett per person.
Senior Citizen at RM48 nett per person
Children 6 to 11 years old get 50% discount.
Buffet runs until Sunday 24th June 2018
