Hi there. I finally got the chance to try out the famous Souper Chef from Penang Queenshall, Queensbay Mall. The stall is located in Queenshall and it's pretty easy to locate once you're inside the hawker center. Look for the stall infront of the Panmee. Fortunately for us, when we arrived, the queue was not too bad and they have an efficient systems - Choose from the menu on the table, place your order and pay, get a receipt and wait for your chicken rice/ Hor Fun.
For me and my boyfie, it is definitely worth for the queue as it is one-of-the-best chicken rice I've eaten in Penang. An ala-cart chicken rice also cost you RM5.90 - RM7.90. The steamed chicken was super smooth and tender. The smell of the rice was so amazingly fragrant and delicious that we just want to keep eating it. （This the feedback from my boyfie）Even the chilli dipping sauce was lovely and fragrant, slightly tangy and with a spicy kick to it. An extremely good plate of chicken rice. It's also worth to try their Tau geh. The bean sprouts was fresh from Ipoh are both crispy and juicy. It is nice to eat with fat juicy bean sprouts in light soya sauce. Due to the special growing condition in Ipoh, the mineral in the water of which the bean sprouts grow gave them extra characters. We could eat this dish alone in Penang and be satisfied.

The highlights of the Souper Chef are their chicken flavour rice. Rice sounds simple, but is the cornerstone of Souper Chef. The rice is cooked in the lemongrass - Full of flavour, oily as the way how chicken rice should be. In addition it is not difficult to find a place with good chicken rice for lunch in Penang, but it not easy to find a good one for late night dining. Opened till 9:30 pm, Souper Chef is where we can have tasty chicken rice at any time, even in the middle of the night.
