By 靜涵 ♥ - May 24, 2018

If DIY had a BFF It would be chocolate right? Well. You know how cool would it be to craft up your own message and have that message appear on the box. Today my mission is to show you how to make your own chocolate! Hahaha no way. I'll blog about my day at Harriston Signature Penang.

Harriston Chocolate is A Unique Malaysian Chocolate Experience in Penang that you must try. They've launched since 2015 and their HQ location is at Cheras. In Penang, Harriston Signature Outlet is their latest branch that opened in July of 2017. They operates everyday included public holidays from 930AM - 630PM. First Harriston outlet to feature fully fledged cafe. Currently caters approximately 2000 patrons daily. OMG Incredible. This is the largest local chocolate shop in Penang and they have Personalized Chocalate DIY class DAYUMMM and last but not least an experiential shopping experience.

How the chocolate is made? Do u ever wondered...? At Harriston Signature Outlet, they explained that Cocoa beans are roasted in large and rotating ovens at temperature of about 210-290F. The heat beat brings out more flavour and aroma, and it dries and darkens the beans. By the way, they offer a wide selection of chocolates with more than 150 variants that all made from the finest cocoa beans based on time honoured methods and innovative and proprietary recipes and some of which are uniquely Malaysian can only be found exclusively at Harriston, like its durian and Tongkat Ali chocolate. the first in World.

Herbs and spices chocolate!! Curry milk chocolate , Black Sesame white chocolate , Ginger Dark Chocolate and Chili Dark Chocolate

DIY workshop

Specially created for adults and children above 3 years old, Harriston DIY Workshops are a fun introduction to the art of chocolate making packed with discovery, hands-on experience and of course tasting and bringing home your very own handmade chocolate. From here my DIY own chocolate check list - Checked.

First of all, I've experienced chocolate moulding. It's a fun experience for me to get hands-on in the process of tempering chocolate at the right temperature, coating chocolate moulds, moulding and unmoulding chocolate. You know. I was wondering what is the Orang Utan, but when the results out, I'm so satisfied HAHA So cute you know. You can learn to make fun and tasty chocolate in the shapes of Harris, an adorable Orang Utan, which you can bring home as a treat for yourself or a personalised gift for your friends.

What i like is Chocolate painting and Lollipops. I've learnt how to pour melted chocolate into the tray or use piping bag to achieve the desired shapes. First of all, we need to insert sticks into the chocolate mixture and removing chocolate after it has hardened. You can draw anything you want. Well. I'm not an artistic person and i just wrote my name on top.

Fellow bloggers and media are focusing on their own piece of chocolate art.
